SUBJECT: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Administration American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funding

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) is providing federal ARPA funding for SNAP administrative expenses.

This allocation consists of one hundred per cent federal funds. The Assistance Listing Number (ALN), formerly known as catalog of federal domestic assistance (CFDA) number for the SNAP ARPA allocation is 10.561.

For state fiscal year (SFY) 21, counties may claim expenditures beginning March 11, 2021 and obligated by September 30, 2021. For funding available in future SFYs, ODJFS will communicate the funding period and liquidation period through the county finance information system (CFIS).

Counties will expend allocations via a financial coding adjustment which will be communicated by the Bureau of County Finance and Technical Assistance (BCFTA).
