The Ohio Department of Medicaid is providing additional state funding to assist specific public assistance agencies with the cost of processing backlogged pending Medicaid cases in the Ohio Benefits System. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) will issue funding as a new allocation.

To claim expenditures for the new allocation, counties will move expenditures from Medicaid Income Maintenance to the new Medicaid funding through the post-allocated adjustment (PAA) process.
