This letter transmits amendments rules 5101:2-38-02, 5101:2-38-03 and 5101:2-38-06 of the Ohio Administrative Code. These rules will become effective August 1, 2020.

The following is a brief explanation of the changes to each rule:

OAC 5101:2-38-02 entitled Protective Supervision by PCSAs outlines the requirements that apply to public children services agency (PCSA) protective supervision cases. Amendments to this rule are to remove form numbers and revision date citations in this rule as the forms are located and maintained within the statewide automated child welfare information system (SACWIS).

OAC 5101:2-38-03 entitled Protective Supervision by PCPAs sets forth the requirements that apply to the private child placing agency (PCPA) protective supervision cases. This rule was reviewed for the five-year review requirement. Form numbers and revision dates are being removed to be consistent with changes occurring across the Chapter 5101:2-38 rules of the Ohio Administrative Code.

OAC 5101:2-38-06 entitled Required Contents of a PCPA Case Plan Document sets forth the content requirements for PCPA case plans. This rule was reviewed for the five-year review requirement. Minor, grammatical changes were made to the rule.
