Any request for exemption from any provision under division 5101:11 of the Administrative Code shall be made in writing to the state apprenticeship agency (SAA) and shall contain a statement of reasons supporting the request. Exemptions may be granted for good cause, as so determined by the SAA. The SAA will immediately notify the United States department of labor, concerning any such exemptions affecting a substantial number of employees and concerning the reasons for approval.
