SUBJECT: Stimulus Food Assistance Allocation

In accordance with Section 702(c) of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) is providing additional funding for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) administrative expenses for fiscal year 2021.

This allocation consists of one hundred per cent federal funds. The catalog of federal domestic assistance (CFDA) number for the Stimulus Food Assistance allocation is 10.561.

ODJFS will distribute funds to the County Departments of Job and Family Service (CDJFS) agencies using the methodology outlined in current Administrative Code Rule 5101:9-6-05 (D) "Income Maintenance Allocations."

ODJFS will communicate the funding period and liquidation period through the county finance information system (CFIS).

Financial and random moment sample (RMS) coding will be communicated by the Bureau of County Finance and Technical Assistance (BCFTA). RMS is subject to Administrative Code rule 5101:9-7-20.
