Following the heavy rainfall and flooding which impacted the state
the week of February 19, 2018, Governor Kasich declared a state of emergency for
the following counties: Adams, Athens, Belmont, Brown, Clermont, Columbiana, Gallia,
Hamilton, Hocking, Jackson, Jefferson, Lawrence, Monroe, Meigs, Muskingum, Scioto
and Washington.
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) is providing
assistance to the counties impacted through the County Departments of Job and Family
Services (CDJFS). In addition to regular temporary assistance for needy families
(TANF) funding, catalog of federal domestic assistance (CFDA) number 93.558, a separate
allocation consisting of state funds will be made available.
County agencies shall report expenditures as described in rule 5101:9-7-29
of the Administrative Code. The CDJFS must use the codes contained in the table
below to report expenditures. These codes may only be used during a Governor - declared
state of emergency.
