The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) issued FAPL 117 providing information on the issuance of the Reallotment Chafee Allocation. The purpose of this FAPL is to communicate the Health and Human Services (HHS) updated federal reimbursement percentage.

HHS changed the reimbursement rate from one hundred percent to eighty percent. ODJFS will issue additional Chafee State Match to Public Children Services Agencies (PCSA) to meet the twenty percent match requirement.

ODJFS will communicate direct project codes via a Bureau of County Finance and Technical Assistance alert through the CFIS_HELP_DESK@jfs.ohio.gov.

ODJFS will communicate the funding and liquidation period through the county finance information system (CFIS).
