Background:
The child care income eligibility standards are updated annually
after the release of the Federal Poverty Guidelines by the United States
Department of Health and Human Services.
Implementation of New Income Eligibility
Standards:
The Child Care Information Data System (CCIDS) has been updated
to include the October 1, 2020 Income Eligibility Standards. All applications, redetermination and case
updates made on or after October 1, 2020 will be based on these new standards.
The monthly income standards are as follows:

These amounts are determined using the 2020 Federal Poverty
Guidelines as published in the Federal Register on February 1, 2020. If the family size is above 8, add $4,480 to
the annual income for each additional household member.

based on the new income eligibility standards.
