RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a way for websites to distribute information, such as news items, recent changes, or important announcements. Using RSS, a website can "feed" this information to subscribers automatically.
To subscribe to a RSS feed, you need a program called a RSS reader. If you are using an employer-provided computer/device, contact your local IT staff to find out what RSS readers are available. Otherwise, you can search for RSS reader software, many of which are available to use for free. If you're using a mobile device, search for "rss reader" in the App Store for iOS devices or Google Play for Android devices.
