The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) is issuing Administrative Code rule 5101:9-31-88 "Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA)" to the local workforce development board (LWDB) to improve employment outcomes for individuals who receive unemployment insurance (UI) and are selected to participate in the program. 

Additionally, RESEA funds assist with: 

• Reducing the average duration of UI through employment;
• Strengthening program integrity and reducing improper UI payments;
• Promoting alignment with the broader vision of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA); and
• Establishing RESEA as an entry point to other workforce system partner programs for individuals receiving UI.
