As the result of the five-year rule review, the Ohio Department
of Job and Family Services has amended Administrative Code rule 5101:9-7-23
"Child Support Random Moment Sample Time Study." Beginning with RMS
sample 2020 the following changes will be effective:
- Updating the time an employee has to respond to
an observation from twenty-four to forty-eight hours.
- Updating the WebRMS reminder email from two to
twelve hours and additional reminder from eighteen to thirty-six hours.
- Updating the time a CSRMS coordinator shall review
and approve observation responses from forty-eight to seventy-two hours.
- Updating the Quality Assurance Process to
reflect that no less than 40% of the control samples must be validated.
- The updates are effective with the 2020Q1
sample.
