The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services has reviewed three rules in Ohio Administrative Code(OAC) 5101:2-42 regarding Substitute Care as a result of the five year rule review process.

The review resulted in no recommendations for changes to OAC Rule 5101:2-42-65 Agency visits and contacts or OAC Rule 5101:2-42-93 Procedural requirements regarding change of placement or visitation plan prior to journalization of case plan.

OAC 5101:2-42-70 Provision of service to unmarried minor parents was also reviewed. The only change being recommended in this rule is the correction of the acronym for the county departments of job and family services from CDHS to CDJFS. This rule is effective May 1, 2003.
