SUBJECT: New Hire Rules - No Change

The Office of Child Support has made no changes to the following rules:

It includes entering the information into the new hire directory, comparing the social security number of the employee with the social security numbers of obligors in the Support Enforcement Tracking System (SETS), and providing information from the new hire report to the national directory of new hire. The rule also states that ODJFS shall use information from the new hire report for support establishment and enforcement purposes, and for detecting fraud in ODJFS-administered programs.
